Intrigue will perform for the first time with the new line-up at Sørsamisk kulturfestival in Røros on Friday 29 September 2006.
Saturday 30 September 2006 they are performing at Rosendal Scene in Trondheim.

Two of the members of Intrigue have left the band.

The guitarist Knut Bakkevold and the keyboard player Steve Strømeng have left the band earlier this summer.
Replacing the former members is guitarist/keyboard player Geir Karikoski from Vadsø (former guitarist of Reaction). Then the band is back again to their five-piece line-up (like in the 90’s).
The new line-up: Øyvind Karlsen (drums), Geir Karikoski (guitar/keyboards), Kai Somby (vocals), Tore Skoglund (guitar), Frank Rasmus (bass).

On Saturday 18 June 2005 Intrigue played in Lovozero/Lujávri, Russia in front of an audience of 700–800.

The concert went well and the audience seemed happy about the performance.
Intrigue would like to thank all the people who showed up and the band would very much like to return for an indoors gig.
Karasjok kommune is the brother town of Lovozero which co-operated about the arrangement.

Summer gigs 2005

For the first time Intrigue will be playing in Russia. The concert will be held outdoors in the centre of the town Lujávri/Lovozero, Russia on Saturday 18 June 2005.
Later this month Intrigue will appear outdoors on Cityscenen at Kirunafestivalen in Kiruna, Sweden on Thursday 30 June 2005.

Saami artists in Kárášjohka are helping those who are suffering after the tsunami disaster in Asia. Next Saturday a support concert is beeing held at Kárásjoga kulturviessu.

The famous singer Kai Somby of Intrigue says that they instantly wished to participate in this support concert.
– One wishes to help, and I see that this is a way which we artists can help, says Kai Somby.
Scared
Somby admits that the tsunami disaster has scared him.
– I have seen people suffering on TV this Christmas. Therefore I believe this job is very important. This also gives us a good feeling when we are able to help them, says Somby.
Recommends others
Also musician Magnus Vuolab believes that it is very important to help people in Asia who are suffering after the disaster.
– We have to care about the people who are affected by this disaster.
– I also recommend other Saami artists in other communities to arrange similar concerts where the money goes to the victims, says Vuolab.
Suggested by a journalist
The thought behind this support concert came from a journalist in the Norwegian broadcasters NRK Sámi Radio.
By SMS the journalist suggested for Kárášjoga Musihkkáriid Siida/Karasjok MusikerSiida to gather Saami artists in Kárášjohka.
– This was an excellent suggestion, and the board assembled instantly and decided to arrange a support concert, tells the chairman Per Kjetil Somby.
Reads aloud poems
Per Kjetil Somby tells that they already have spoken to nine artists in Kárášjohka, who have promised to perform with song, yoik and music.
– We also have gotten writer Inga Rávná Eira to read aloud poems. For this occasion She has written a poem, tells Somby.
Youth are helping
He tells that they have gotten 10th graders from Kárášjoga nuoraidskuvla to help with the concert.
– We have not succeeded in finding anyone to manage the concert yet but hopefully we are getting that too soon, says Somby.
The money goes to The Red Cross
Everyone participating in this concert does this for free and the money which comes in will thereafter be handed to The Red Cross.
– With this concert we hope to get in 10,000–20,000 Norwegian Krone, says Per Kjetil Somby the Chairman of the Kárášjoga Musihkkáriid Siida/Karasjok MusikerSiida.
The concert will be held on Saturday 15 January 2005 18:00 at Kárášjoga kulturviessu.

In Min Áigi No. 99/2004 Ámmun Johnskareng wrote (freely translated from Northern Saami): “Etno and rock is the Kárášjok situated band Intrigue’s new musical expression. At the Biret Elle muitokonsearta last Thursday they showed that they were successful with that as well.”
